Kristy Velesko is the owner and operator of Kristy Velesko Photography based in Peoria, AZ.  She started her business in 2014 and specializes in creative fine art. 

With the encouragement and support of her family, photography clients, and community she has been focusing her art career on cultivating her style and visual storytelling to bring you immersive images that transport you to somewhere you have not been before. She hopes her art makes you feel, dream, and yearn to explore. 

Throughout her life she has taken the path less traveled and takes the same approach to her art she creates, always trying to find a new and different way to look at things. Finding inspiration from a song lyric or quote from a book, even a dream the night before, she loves bringing these images to life. Her favorite place to be is at home with a good book and her family or on the road exploring, hiking, and seeing the world. The travel bug bites very often and she loves meeting new people and creating new environments, each backdrop with a new story to tell.

During her career she has photographed over a hundred weddings and many more family/portrait sessions. These valued relationships with her clients have helped her to fund her creative soul and made it possible for her to open her own photography studio at Iron Key Studios in the heart of Peoria, AZ. This is where she lets her mind soar and creates many new art pieces along with some unique client sessions. 

Partnering with Theaterworks on their latest Curiouser and Curiouser show run has been extremely rewarding for her. Being able to take a part of a story everyone knows and have them trust her to put her own dark spin on it made her feel like a part of the Peoria arts family. She hopes to flourish with these new relationships and help the community grow.
